FIM Improvisation was established in April of 2022 by Caleb Duval and Luke Rovinsky.
In the 2 years since, they have independently organized over 50 concerts featuring more than 125 improvisers from Connecticut, NYC, Providence, Philly, Boston, Chicago, Mexico City, and Berlin in bookstores, warehouses, and cafes across the state.
In addition to presenting musicians touring nationally and abroad, the FIM community of regular performers now includes a number of steady collaborators and established groups with distinct musical languages.
In January of 2024, Rovinsky and Duval created FIM Records.
The following discography is comprised both of select releases that precipitate the founding of FIM in April 2022 as well as those that convey the subsequent group activity and evolving work of FIM's most frequent participants through today.
